What is HEALTH?
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being
and not only the absence of disease.
HEALTH RISKS
Being HEALTHY includes PHYSICAL, MENTAL and SOCIAL health.
There are different factors that can affect our health and your nervous system:
ALCOHOL: affects the brain. It can lead to a chronical illness (alcoholism)
DISEASES: Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.
ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES: bone fractures, sprains, muscle strains...

HEALTHY HABITS
In order to keep our nervous and locomotor systems healthy,
we need to have HEALTHY HABITS in our daily life:
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY (exercise)
GOOD POSTURE: to avoid back problems.
HEALTHY DIET: dairy products, vegetables, fruit...
SLEEP AND LEISURE: children need between 10 and 12 hours per day.
